Comprised of multiple embossed layers of stainless steel with the outer layers utilizing a Viton rubber coating. Compressed operating thickness is 0.027". With Steam Holes. Cometic MLS (Multi-Layer Steel) Head Gaskets provide maximum sealing performance for todays high output engines and require no sealants. MLS gaskets are ideal for both aluminum heads to aluminum blocks and aluminum heads to cast iron blocks. They can withstand the shearing force created by the two materials. MLS gaskets have increased strength because they are comprised of multiple layers of stainless steel; which also creates the ability to rebound and resist corrosion. The outer layers are embossed and coated on both sides with Viton (a flour elastomer rubber based material that is heat resistant to 250 C/ 482 F). Viton is designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions, and surface finishes. The center or shim layer is uncoated stainless steel, which can be varied to accommodate multiple thickness requirements.

This review is specifically for the panda toy. My dog is a super chewer and will literally go through any normal toy, even the ones labeled for aggressive chewers, within a few hours at most. To me, it wasn’t worth the fear of him dealing through pieces so I just took the whole “skin” off. However, he’s safely had this for 2 months with no issues and heavy daily chewing until he finally broke it apart. So if you have a super chewer, make sure to get the size appropriate for your dog’s weight and take the “skin” off and you’re left with a quality toy that will stick around! Pictured is a set of 2 new toys of the same variety since he finally chewed through his last batch lol

He easily ripped off the ear/feet bits, but the fabric casing hasn’t come off after a week of play, and I expect the rubber toy inside will be even harder to break. This is a fairly heavy toy, so it makes a thunk when it drops and is probably not suitable for small dogs. It has a light squeak that is quiet and infrequent enough to not annoy me, and it’s pretty cute too!! it does get soaked in drool pretty fast (and takes forever to dry), but at this point i’m grateful it lasts long enough to get drooled on at all.
